Banjo arrived with us October 2003 bred by Mrs. M. Harwich he is by the H.I.S. Stallion Bandmaster. He was 4 years old, just backed and ready for some serious work.

It was Pete’s last year in Intermediates and what a great year it has been with this fabulous horse. Unbeaten in Novices winning at Winter Championships and Summer Championships he was soon out in opens going from strength to strength. Winner at Bath & West, East of England, Welsh Championships to name but a few. We even ventured into Small Hunter Clases where we won RIHS and HOYS qualifiers.

At the BSPS Championships he was a star. Entered in five classes he won them all. Novice, Young, Premier League Red & HOYS Qualifier. To win the Ronnie Marmont Supreme and the fantastic Trophy was amazing but to win the Blue Riband Intermediate Championship was unbelievable. All this with a horse in his first season.

On to HOYS we dared not even dream that he would win but with his unflappable temperament and charismatic personality he rose to the occasion again giving Peter an unforgettable last ride in Intermediates.
