With the advent of the lead rein Show Hunter Pony, dress in this class has leaned more towards tweed or earthy colours.
GROOMS if you go in the ring to strip a pony for the in hand section of a class make sure you are smartly dressed and wearing a hat. At the Royal International, Horse of the Year Shows, and BSPS Championships grooms are expected to wear a shirt and tie, a coat or jacket and a hat.
