At the end of a long season, we finally have the results of the very popular Leading Rider competition. What a fantastic overall win for Ella Pybus in the Home Produced Section with an amazing 1025 points during the season. Winner in the 10 – 16 years category was Emily Hingley with Catriona Meikle capturing the top slot in the 17 years and over. There were 61 riders in this section and many achieved well over 100 points so congratulations to each and every one of you.
The Open Section was a very close run competition with some very familiar names in the line up. Many, many congratulations to Alice Greenwood for winning the overall Open Section in the 10 – 16 years category with 835 points, a wonderful achievement given the strong competition in this category. Winner of the small age group was Imogen Sidaway with 690 points and Kirsty Aird won the over 17 years section. The Open Section had 50 riders competing for the title and congratulations should also go to Harriet Dennison with 800 points who was a well deserved second to Alice.
