The British Show Pony Society was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty the Queen and extend our sincere condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and the whole Royal Family at this tragic time.

Our longest serving monarch, for whom the majority of the nation have never known another Head of State, she epitomised all that is good about our country, compassion, devotion to duty, tradition and role model we should all aspire to emulate.

The equestrian world has lost its greatest champion, whose love of the horse shone through whenever she was with them, her knowledge was unsurpassed. From racehorses, eventing through to show horses, breeding and supporting our wonderful native ponies we remain ever indebted for her support to our sport. Rest in peace Your Majesty.
