Jonika Whistles the Wind (Jerry) has sadly passed away at the age of 18yrs. He was a prolific Champion Lead Rein and Show Hunter Pony foaled in 2003 bred by Erika Carter by Brockwood Nutcracker out of Merrydown Carlsburg Sec B – Produced by Team Emmerson and ridden by Martha Jobling-Purser mostly lead by Sarah and occasionally partnered Sarah’s nephew William. They won so many titles and Supreme championships definitely setting Martha well on her way in her riding/showing career and now future Dressage career.

He only mossed one Winter Champs as Sarah was getting married and didn’t want bite marks on her arms for her wedding day! I remember he was absoloutely devastated when he wasn’t loaded on the lorry !! Jerry had a quieter few years latterly and went over to Ireland with the Miller Family but came home a couple of yeara ago to set young Master Grayson Brady-Brooke (via us the Jobling-Pursers) away on his riding and now showing career. The most superb child’s pony in every way, true to type and a stamp so hard to find, a versatile pony who knew and loved his job. A proper good goer!

He absoloutely lit up in the ring and we shall miss his wonderful cheeky face so much.
