It is with great sadness that Richard Binks has passed away.

He was involved with the BSPS for 45 years showing ponies with his daughters Helen, Harriet and Hannah and then his grand daughter Florence.  More recently he enjoyed giving back to the showing community by sponsoring at the BSPS Championships and HOYS.  He still enjoyed following the family’s ponies ridden by Izzy Walker and Samantha Taylor and small hunters produced by Charles Le Moignan and Danielle Heath up until the end.  The family has had many successes over the years in the show ring but the friendships made and good times had along the way were always more important.e

The funeral service will be at 3pm on 29^th September at St.Mary’s Church Woodkirk, Dewsbury Road, Dewsbury, WF12 7JL.  Family Flowers only please and donations in lieu of flowers to Sue Ryder, Wheatfields Hospice, Leeds.  The family would then be delighted if you would join them for refreshments at Morley Rugby Club, Scatcherd Lane, Morley, Leeds, LS27 0JJ.
