The British Show Pony Society was very sad to learn that Mrs Edna Hunnable Schnieder sadly passed away on Sunday 1st September 2024 aged 86yrs.

Edna with her late husband Thomas Hunnable (a previous President of the Society) were great supporters and generous sponsors of the BSPS and BSPS Area 15 going back to the 1970s. When Thomas Hunnable opened the state of the art Towerlands Equestrian Centre, they hosted for many years Areas Shows and also the International Working Hunter Pony Competition.

The BSPS was honoured that Edna accepted the position of BSPS Honorary Vice President, in recognition of all she and her family had contributed to the Society over so many years.

The BSPS wish to express our sincere condolences to her sons, Martin, Chris and Julian and their families at this sad time.
